Did you know that LGBTQ Pride Month that is celebrated each year in the month of June, is to honor the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan? Did you know the purpose of the commemorative month is to recognize the impact that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals have had on history locally, nationally, and internationally?
Join this Community BUZZ conversation with guest, Anthony Molino, Director of Hotel Sales with Choose Chicago and LGBTMPA board member, as he provides a historical and educational reflection, highlighting events celebrated during the month, while also providing thoughts on ways that we as an industry, can better embrace and express diversity to drive innovation and enable teams to thrive.
Anthony will also provide some LGBT-friendly meeting and event tips that are free of bias, all with the goal of planning events that move towards establishing inclusion.
